Mandie Ellis, MAOM, L.Ac., is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, and is licensed to practice in Rhode Island. She is also nationally board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Mandie earned her Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) from New England School of Acupuncture via Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (NESA-MCPHS). Her program included integrated internships/assistantships at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Medical Center.

She founded Mandie Ellis Acupuncture LLC, and has operated as an independent contractor at Solitude Massage Therapy & Wellness Center LLC since 2021.

As a military veteran, Mandie draws on her diverse experiences and mentorship from dynamic leaders, forming a robust foundation for her role as a practitioner and entrepreneur.

Mandie specializes in general acupuncture, offering preventative care and treating various conditions such as acute and chronic pain, headaches, allergies, emotional and digestive disorders, sleep issues, and autoimmune disorders. Her passion extends to women’s health (menses, fertility, pregnancy, menopause), emotional trauma (PTSD, anxiety, depression), physical trauma (concussions, TBI, post-accident care), and cosmetic acupuncture, for which she holds a specialized certification from Pacific College of Health Sciences.

As an integrative holistic practitioner, Mandie employs a variety of acupuncture styles (Chinese, Japanese, Orthopedic, Electro, and Cosmetic), along with Chinese Herbology, Cupping, Gua-Sha, Moxibustion, Nutrition, and Movement recommendations to restore balance and overall health.

To incorporate meditation and movement into her practice, Mandie attained her Yoga Alliance Teacher Training (200hr) certification in Hatha and Vinasysa yoga and meditation practices from the Sarvaguna Yoga-Meditation Training and Research Academy in Dharamsala, India.
